You must believe Christ died for your sins

Christ is the only way into heaven

6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

- Getting to heaven is a simple matter of believing that you're a sinner and Christ died for your sins. The key here is belief. Just saying it does nothing.
